And there you have it. Doc is something brown and fuzzy.

Doc wasn’t oblivious to his own metamorphosis after all.Is he a badger?You all look like cartoons in a comic strip! ☺

I wouldn;t recognize a badger without the face markings. Also they’re usually grey.

Not that bad…Holly, dear… It’s safe to say that this entire town is going all to pieces.And it’s raining engine parts. You might want to find shelter before the rest of the vehicle follows suit.

Maybe they will figure out what he is. He really doesn’t look like any identifiable animal. Maybe he was a bit semi-conscience when he changed, so he just became generic Critter.

Looks like the buddibombs are earning overtime. Yay!

It looks to me like Doc resembles the cartoon character POGO, who famously said “We have met the enemy and he is us.”

I doubt that is covered under warranty.

Pogo was an Opossum, so maybe the doc is.

Doc is a badger, but as Holly said, he looks like a cartoon. We’ve seen people who are the same animal type, but are different cartoon styles. Flask is realistic while other cats are more toony. Ethel was a realistic snake, while someone else would look more like Sir Hiss. How much like an animal a person becomes may depend on their idea of the animal. It’s like a godlike artist asks “If you were any cartoon animal, what kind of cartoon animal would you be?” and makes it so. Or like a mad scientist designed a virus that has the same effect.

It looks like the godlike artist ran out of anvils.

Time to make haste elsewhere….

So how do they get out of here and get to Endtown?

Badger, opossum , capybara, wombat, all good possible types that would seem to be a near fit.

Checking badger pictures on Google, it looks like their noses do tend to blend in with the rest of their faces.

Actually, I kinda wonder if Doc is swearing not for emotional reasons, but because he’s just now noticing how bloomin’ much his leg (hip?knee?) HURTS. (He limps and uses a cane in Endtown, right?)

I thought Sparkplug’s past was rough, until Flask told hers…but Holly’s is the worst by far.

I don’t think there’s anyone alive post-End that hasn’t gone through their own special hells to be alive.

Honey Badger. And he just doesn’t give a …. care.
