    I suspect it works like a SEP field. It doesn’t make her invisible or anything, it just makes it so she doesn’t seem important enough to notice.

    I have a sneaking suspicion what you distrust is the parody of Sanders his detractors are putting forth and not his actual position. I see a lot of that happening these days though, for every candidate. There’s their actual position, and then there’s their position as portrayed by their opponents, which rarely resemble each other.

    Sanders is not a communist. Still, this can work as a a joke since so many people seem to think he is. But then… still kind of a weak punchline.Or maybe I’m just “butthurt”, cause that seems to be the retort I tend to get. I don’t get it.

    Hm, yeah, they might be smaller than I’m remembering. Still, there’s definitely a lot of contrast between them and the human-sized surroundings.

    I’m fascinated by the relatively subtle usage of scale here. If I’m not wrong, they’re being drawn a fair bit smaller than they normally are, which reflects how small they must have felt in that moment.
