I’m glad Daddy Warbucks got your back Tracy but as Head of Dectetives and working on the force for 85 years, don’t you have enough savings so you can chill out for awhile?

Are we going to have Another Tracy/Annie mash? Oy Vey! I think the concept peaked with the T&A (LOL!)story the, “Where is he now?” poster Bassmanbob wrote some years back. That was a classic, in my unimportant opinion!

Holy plutocrats, Policeman! I didn’t see that one coming! But a turn with Daddy, probably in some security capacity, might be not only financially supportive but also opportunistic for Tracy: a chance to work without some of the many legal restraints that cramp police work and, even more importantly, out of the constant meddling oversight of Mayor Armstrong. So, get on with it, Sam, Lizz, and Pat! And let Tracy join the already formidable Warbucks team. Will Tracy partner with Punjab and the Asp? Wow! What possibilities lie before him, and us!

I was wondering if Annie would show up this summer.

It’s good to have friends in high places from other comic strips.

My job allows me time to listen to a lot of Old Time Radio. Now I have visions of “Dick Tracy – Private Eye.”

Leapin’ lizards! It looks like we have a new Annie crossover story coming up!

Yeah, that has to be pretty much the stupidest mayor in history. Suspend a guy like Dick Tracy, without due process or just cause. No wonder some cops go bad. No one takes care of them. And all just an excuse so Tracy can go work for Warbucks.

Warbucks probably has more high tech gear available than the city PD has to analyze that video.In fact, the whole mystery would be resolved really fast if the Asp were to pay a visit to Notta.

Mr. Warbucks could probably have a bit of sway over Mayor Armstrong, what with his “contribution” to the city. Also, any reason to have the Warbucks family here is a good one. Involving Tess, if she can see past the scandal cooked up by Heartless Mahoney, she can see through this one, especially now that she is a private eye, herself.

Patton and Sam have this look on their faces as if to say, “We’re not going to lose him and be stuck with the kid and company… are we?”

I suspect that it’s not so much stupidity as it is corruption.________________________I have always suspected and have stated here that I believe Armstrong to be corrupt. Consider, she was friends with Sweatbox.

Isn’t it about time for the Space Coupe to return?

Off-topic, but breaking news says that Prince, the singer, is dead at the age of 57. Shocking.

How will Tess’r’act ?

She ought to know him by now (they’ve been married how long?), but they’ve had problems before, once getting separated essentially because Dick was married to his work. He still seems to be a workaholic.

Perhaps Tracy’s returning the favor to Warbucks for saving and protecting Annie (twice.) Good safety net to fall back on.

I like to think/hope the “guest appearances” by Annie and Co. are a warm-up for Team Tracy to reboot her comic strip for the (already overdue) centennial of the character. (First Appearance, 1924)

I tried to post this earlier, but GoComics was having some sort of problem:I’m very disappointed that Chief Patton didn’t even try (so far as we were allowed to see) to stand up to this mayor. What she did was wrong, and some one needs top put her in her place.In the story I referred to a couple of days back, Spinner ReCord when Tracy was accused of pilfering from the Police Vault, the County Sheriff and the D.A. gave Tracy an opportunity to clear his name. I suppose in today’s climate, that couldn’t happen, because there would always be those who would claim Tracy rigged the investigation. But, at least, why couldn’t he stay on active duty at HQ while this is being investigated? Why pull his badge and his pay before there is any investigation? This mayor is altogether too high-handed and self-righteous. Frequently, when someone makes this much noise about someone else, before all the facts are in, it’s because they themselves have something to hide.

Sam says they will “find Notta Fallar” and get the real story, and I hope they do. But they don’t really have to “find” her, unless she pulled up stakes and moved – they’ve been to her residence recently to interview her.She may be bent on revenge, but she’s not stupid. She had to know that the police would be knocking on her door within hours of that video airing on the TV.

Is Tracy so hard up for money that he can’t take one day off?

Also, Tracy never struck me as the type who enjoyed sitting around doing nothing.

Hooray for Warbucks! Tell that Mayor where to go, Tracy! She looks like a total crook!!

A lot of thing could have happened, but the likelihood is not very high. I’d be quite surprised if it showed up again, but I know it’s not impossible for that to happen.
