An early Merry Christmas to all.-—————I will be traveling on Christmas Day.-—————I hope everyone has their best Christmas ever.

Merry Christmas from the subtropical midOhio Valley where temperature record are being set daily. My brother, who is also my cook is in the hospital with a perforated colon and hernia, both of which were repaired Monday. He may get home Sunday, meanwhile, I have lost 3 pounds to my cooking.

Annie, why even bother talking to Chesney. Our electricity went out yesterday for awhile and we brought out the oil lamps just like days of yore. We are buried in a good 2 feet of snow at my daughter’s house. And it is supposed to continue for the next couple of days. Merry Christmas!

We do not use that kind of language here. Children read this. Shame on you.

I was a Timex fan for many years.The last four years before i bought my Citizen the Timex watches were dying on me on a yearlu basis.DEAD dead. Change the battery and nothing happens dead.I got frustrated with that and bot the Citizen only because i just happened to have the money, and the Eco-Drive intrigued me.I havent regretted it since.

I got lucky/unlucky….The last few years of pops life he stopped buying gifts for people. He gave money.The year before he died he gave me some cash for my birthday in October and i decided to sit on it until something nice came along.The same thing happened when christmas came.Come February, Pennies had a big sale on jewelry.So, i had the money, AND, i got a good deal on it.Its one of the few times that i had the opportunity to make something lucky happen.If that makes any sense…

Pop made it possible for me own the best time piece I’ve ever had. Or probably will ever have.At a time in his life when he stopped caring. I cherish it as a gift from him, but would have been happier with some other thing that he had given me as a gift from him.If that makes any sense…
