I guess Reality is setting in, Evie! But it is a HAPPY reality! Your family is surely going to be in shock. But, let them be…it’s Your life and that of your husband(!). However, where’s Arnold?! I guess he had to get back to working on those houses?! ;)

Methinks it’s an “oh my” in panic; look at ’er facial expression.

I vote, “How am I going to tell my family that I just got married?” panic look with that “oh my.”

Can’t wait till she walks in the door, holds up her hand and says “guess what?”

HOPEFULLY ARNOLD WILL FOLLOW SOON.

Where’s Arnold?

Evie’s hair is back to gray with a blue tint again. On the wedding day her hair glowed strawberry blond in the sun. That must have been her original color. At that moment, she felt young again and there was a special aura around her. Ah, well. Weddings are always exhausting, and family can be exhausting, too.

I’m glad that my 4 children don’t care what I do if it makes me happy (although somehow they never thought I should be with the former BF, even though they have no problem using his knowledge in their homes). I don’t really know or care if they’ll like my new lover (and I don’t ever plan to marry, as he also has kids and it just complicates things). Individually, when speaking with each, I mention the things that I think each of them might admire about him.

Not much of a honeymoon if she left him behind!!!

Talking about it is harder than doing it.

Arnold is flying the plane. He’ll be there when meet the family time comes.

I try not to second-guess Jan but this time I have to say Arnold should be on that plane. As for the ring, you can be stunned that you actually did what you did, without regretting that you did it.

I think the enormity is just sitting in. Thinking about what she has done and how to explain it to family, etc. I wonder if she is going to come in as if nothing unusual happened and see if any notices the ring. If she does it that way, I am betting Alix notices first. :o)
