Terrifyingly accurate! I can’t believe he caught what it feels like to go through an automatic carwash. I still have to close my eyes until it’s over.

That little car is one of the great recurring props in today’s comics.

It’s a great comic strip but let’s not get carried away; maybe I’m cruel to say it, but after reading some of the comments above, I can identify some brown-nosers who need to go through the car wash - without the car.

I don’t think that there is anything wrong with telling someone that they did a good job.

fenneuter ‘brown nosing’ Richard would result in exactly what? We don’t work for him, he doesn’t know any of us from Adam. The people that praise his work do so sincerely. There is nothing wrong with telling someone that you like their work. This is one of the best strips out there today.

Loved the rotary brushy thing — and with that little car it’s amazing that it survived!

margueritem, I don’t know about anybody else, but I’m banking on the follow-up to the Goofy Christmas Sweater contest being the Obsequiously Flatter Richard Thompson contest. My goal in life is to be Richard Thompson’s Pal™, like Jimmy Olsen.
