A 60-something who has loved comics from day 1. Don't worry, though, everything is under control - I don't permit myself to follow more than 60 strips (or so).

I actually kind of like the idea of a white jockey posing in the front yard of a colored chap. ;-)

This strip excelled on some many levels. Good daily gags (often two per day) while also driving longer story arcs forward, superb artwork, and a look at the world that offered something different. Why this strip didn’t succeed wildly is a sad puzzlement to me.

That 2nd panel is coffee-spitting funny. Brilliant expressions.

“Don’t Follow the Light” made me spit out my coffee. In a good way, of course. Beyond funny.

The eventual movie will no doubt feature soundtrack music by Timmy Fretwork.

This was (OK, “is”) a brilliant strip. Great story arcs, wonderful dialogue, and awesome cartooning. And yet, it didn’t garner the audience numbers that you’d hope quality like this might achieve.
