Is the role of the dead cat played by the same actor who played Catzilla last week?

Oh, the cat got dead; we put him in a boxAnd we dug a little hole and we covered him with rocksAnd we picked a couple dandelions, said a little prayerAnd we all went off to bed ‘cause we mostly didn’t care.

I agree with those who say that this is not funny. BUT – it could be taken as a commentary on how we feed ourselves and our pets. Not too long ago, farmers cared about the quality of their product, as did consumers. Nowadays, all that matters to most growers is yield, and all that matters to consumers is price. A tomato is a tomato is a tomato – the flavor, nutritional value, etc., of one tomato versus another never factor into our decision making. And the methods by which big ag gets its ever greater yields can be extremely questionable. So in pursuit of ever cheaper food, we’re all slowly poisoning ourselves. (Still, killing a pet ain’t never funny.)

Contains no strychnine. Strychnine contracts the longissimus dorsi, presenting an arched back. The cat is faking it to rile cat lovers.

Geez…are people serious? I am a cat lover but this is just a joke folks! Pretty sure he’s suggesting it was an accident and just having a little fun mixing up similar names.
