Every web page’s comment section should have a label with that at the beginning.

I’m discovering I live in a growing Midwestern old people mecca (because of easily accessible medical): if your up to it, it can be quite entertaining; if not, bring your lunch bag to work and stay OFF the streets!!

People want to be offended. Why else would they marginalize themselves.

@roctorAgreed. Taking offense is a choice. Those who try to offend succeed when others accept it. And there are others who say they’re offended in an attempt to manipulate. I’m cats and dogs are above it.

Clearly the state of current affairs in our world today, and yet no one carries a sign?! I think people are just waiting to be offended so they can then drag the offender through the streets in a subtle ‘unoffensive’ way…

Look out.She is headed for McDonalds for her morning McMuffin and coffee. Here lately McDonalds is now the new political meeting place for the oldsters like myself.Early they gather to view and comment on the new political landscape. All the while Fox and CNN on the TV give them the ammo they need to carry on.AND they are not very happy about it all.

My small town doesn’t have a MacDonald’s. One group of older guys meets at the pharmacy where they have a TV, a table, and a coffee pot. I’m too young to sit with them, but at least they greet me. (I’m 62…)

I am always amazed when other people (particularly strangers) take offense to anything I do or say. I never realize how important they think I must be that they have to take me seriously. And when driving, I always yield right-of-way to idiots.

If it weren’t for all the osshales, there would cer-tainly be fewer jobs going. Police, courts andprison guards would not be needed, for a start.

argy.bargy, there are 3 possible reasons that conservatives say democrat instead of democratic. A. They don’t know grammar…The word democratic is the adjective form of democracy, modifying the noun, party. B. They are ignorant of the actual name of the Democratic Party. C. They’re being childish dinks….Take your pick, or mix and match….

There is still no one who is easier to offend than someone looking to be offended. Intent is entirely irrelevant.
