Were the reindeer always able to fly, or did Santa BESTOW that ability upon them? He’s a magical elf, after all. So, if it’s the latter, good luck to the eight tiny grass-fed even-toed ungulates stuck in the desert high up on a butte.
The real reason reindeer fly: carrots + digestive system = methane. Methane + Santa lighting up his pipe = 8 reindeer in full afterburner. (Plus a singed beard for the old elf).

In Michigan, the deer that roam through cornfields and fruit farms, in the southern part, taste pretty good…A lot more like beef than the up north variety…..Gotta marinate that stuff….
