So few comments, I guess GoComics DID change to today’s strips later than usual. Anybody know what time? I don’t wake up before first light now that I have no job to get to (many years of rising by 4 regardless of season).

This kitty is no pirate, but a FB friend said her cat loves this toy with real silk ribbon streamers. She called it a Boa Bird and was talking about custom cat toys.

What a day…. night? …. day?…. I’m not sure any more.

I was up most of what some of you call the night… that is, I couldn’t go to sleep till some of you East coast early birds were having breakfast….

but there were no new comics.

About 7:30 am WBCDT (Western Ballard County Daylight Time), I woke up and needed to…. um…take a look at the …. plumb…. er…see a man about a dog…

So of course I checked on the comics..

They had updated…I peeked into a couple of forums,and the earliest comments I saw said “about 20 minutes ago.” So I’m thinking that they came out a bit after 7 AM here …. 10 AM on the Eastern shore…. just about 9 hours late.

With all the site glitches I ran into during the previous few days, and their record for bumpy landings during updates, I’m wondering whether we should be watching for something they’ve just added, removed, or otherwise changed in site functionality or access.

The only advantage to posting this late is that I am oblivious to tardy updates. Only the fewer amount of comments alerts me to this distressing revelation. Plus the number of posts bemoaning said insensitively suspenseful late appearance of our daily fix.

Well I just popped in before bedtime. Very odd sort of day. TMZ called me on Skype because I had made them a contact back when there was something I wanted to say and let me pick 2 topics and they would talk to me on their choice of my choices (and it MAY make it on air). I’m just as glad it did not get aired because it was just political and I had no STRONG opinion (and no makeup on as they gave me little notice and I was busy working out). They called between my 2 sets of bench press.
