Yeah, not fond of booting, myself…In fact I was thinking of watching TV a while ago…since there’s cable here and at home I only get one channel….There’s a “guide” channel that tells you what’s on …I think about 88 stations…
Most of them seem to be airing cop shows or detective shows …or horrid people arguing on “reality” shows, which thankfully have nothing to do with MY reality.
Well…. we both like comics! That’s something everybody here has in common….and no matter how trivial some people might think that is, having a common interest is more than you can say for a lot of social groups.
Charles doesn’t much care for interruptions during his morning coffee. And now, the new neighbor has gone from the window to the back door…….another door-to-door religion peddler….
Well, I didn’t reboot on purpose (it happened while I was still upstairs) and seeing the dog at the window that way made me think it was on a trampoline again.
I usually read the late comments from last night before coming to current day, but just opened GC. It’s still chilly this morning (41 outside) so I just slipped into silk long johns to work out with my weights. I’ve been practicing most of the new diet (and had some extra popcorn yesterday) so my weight is up – got to excercise daily!Way too early for any serious drinks; I’ll just finish my fresh squeezed lime with Stevia then get busy. Back later!
I just love Mr. van Amerongen’s dogs. Probably because I just love dogs. What is that streak of white exploding on the brick facade outside the dog’s window?
@Liverlips,Until you mentioned that, I had not noticed that there IS a double window, so that the dog is indoors (not outside on a trampoline as I first thought).
Just passing through…. I’ll be back later… might be after the turn.
But I just had to chime in to agree withthe Linguist…Stel, somebody’s mistaken.
Fenton is a tall, super polite bulldog, who is rather aghast at the comparison…. I believe he still resides in a well-kept, tidy, 2-story doghouse on Linda Dean’s property.Charles’ neighbor is a friendly, but mischievous, hyperactive hound.
Perhaps if Charles met him, they could be friends…but actually Fenton is more Charles’ type.

Oh come on Charlie, he’s just trying to be friendly….

Took me forever to get here!
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Oh…. thank you Linguist… when you see this… Fenton just told me you left me a drink…..
I think it’s going to be Scotch, actually…. it’ll ease the pain of this chair… and the fragrance of a good single malt will help clear my head.

Hullo Red, hullo Bev….
Are you guys still here? There should be lotsa yak ribs…the Monkey had the smoker going all afternoon….
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Oh…. sorry Red….Fenton told me right when I walked in the door.
I have n idea why Bev would think he’s mad at her…such a sweet dog…. I’ve never known him to hold a grudge.

Oh! G’night Bev!

Long day here too…. even though I didn’t actually do much.
You do sound organised!
Anyway this computer is being weird…. Browser windows stop responding for ages when I just refresh the comments or scroll a page…
It hangs for a scary couple of minutes when I open something in a new window.
Pretty soon I need to give up and go to bed.. early for me but lots to do tomorrow.
SusanSunshine Premium Member about 11 years ago
Sounds like the need for sleep is mutual.G’night, Red….See you tomorrow!

(Is it my imagination, or did I hear Fenton moved over to Ballard Avenue? Is he the new neighbor next to Charles?)
StelBel about 11 years ago
“What’s that, Mel? You leased the ol’ Bigelow place on Ballard Avenue to Fenton? And, you didn’t tell him about Charles?? Oh, nooooo……….”

Now the clock makes sense; I wondered that it was suspended in space. I’m usually more observant (ie. searching details in DS).

That dog seems to ride in a car too many times.
And Sonny lives up to the sound of his name and always looks at the bright side of life:
