The pizza party ends badly for Bookie. All bets are off on a long life for Measles. Odds are good for another sighting of…well, you know who she is.

In the grand Gould tradition, Measles wants to torch the evidence to try to cover his tracks.

I am with you Day-Day2001! Perhaps Mysta will zap Measles while he is making his exit. On second thought, I bet she is on her way to Junior’s home. I hope the writer does look into the investigation on who has been flying the Space Coupe. That will be interesting. I am enjoying the thought of the whole Moon era back in the Tracy strip.

Whoever “Still Da Man” is, he really needs to get help to use his creativity more constructively, and get over his fixation on this strip and it’s readers. He obviously spends a lot of time locating pictures and animated bits to drop into his comments, which, some days, he makes every three hours.Sorry for snapping at “SDM” and his comments.

As another reader pointed out yesterday, that Airstream has a propane tank in front.I wonder if Measles has taken that into account with his plan to torch it. If that explodes, it should draw all the attention he wanted to avoid.

Perhaps I am jumping to conclusions (typical human, always seeing patterns in things that aren’t there) but Measles bears a passing resemblance to the late Hot Rize and her sister Blaze. .

On September 20, Still Da Man wrote:

“As to my true identity, let us just say that the initials MP&H are contained within names I have been called and leave it at that.”

Although Still Da Man insists he has never claimed to be Matthew Hansel, he certainly implies it strongly.

To all you folks embroiled in this controversy over “Still Da Man”:If you will go back and carefully examine the comments over these past weeks, you will see:Still Da Man came on board here and began to express himself in a somewhat abrasive manner. But he did not start the business of acting like he was pretending to be Dick Locher until some of you suggested the idea – then he ran with it. Likewise, it was only after a few of you were so sure he was Matthew Hansel, and began addressing him that way, that he again took your ideas and started acting that way.I’m with VistaBill. I wish we could enjoy discussing Dick Tracy without all this noise. The internet is world wide, so SDM could be any one of billions of people. I doubt if anyone truly knows for sure who he is, except the business office at GoComics. All you did with your speculation is fan the flames.And to Still Da Man: You and I have had a few discussions here, and I have tried to respect your opinions. Don’t you think you would enjoy this forum more if you expressed your opinions without trying to “bait” those who disagree with you? No, Chester Gould introduced Measles as a young punk dope dealer who was clearly a guy back in the 40’s. It was never suggested that he was a female character.Some folks here see a passing resemblance to Hot Rize and Blaze Rise, but they are creations of the new writing team.

Some people think any strip involving a kid and an animal (real or imagined) is a Calvin and Hobbes rip-off.I guess they never read A.A. Milne’s “Winnie the Pooh” stories.

Great pacing in this story, and the art is terrific as always. Not the most exciting or controversial comment made today perhaps, but absolutely true!

A bit of private detective work.After chain-smoking way too many cigars, I determined that SDM and “judy hansel” may or may not be real. They are trolls though, and my private-detective directory indicates they should not be fed.

Matthew Hansel says he posts only under his real name. Without being able to snoop into GoComics logs, I’ll have to take him at his word for that.

ray toler, regardless of whatever either of them say, they are both instigators and trolls and deserve to be ignored. when i reference anything remotely connected, i NEVER mention their names because i do not feel they are worthy of any sort of recognition at all. odd tho, how one posted (at this time) “an hour ago” and the other posted in the same time period. look at the difference in time between MY posts. shows you that BOTH of them have nothing better to do than linger around the gocomics board waiting for comments. if i even REMOTELY gave a flying rat’s tail about either of them (or in this case, the one loon who posts back and forth to himself) i MIGHT be concerned. however since i do not care nor never WILL i.. they can rattle off all they want. i just skip both of their comments completely.. its a MUCH more fun board to read when their names/comments are blocked off
