The “wedding cake” panel is pretty amusing! Still, Sparkle of all people knows the report can’t be true. Mysta recently admitted to Honeymoon that Junior is the only man she wants — so Honeymoon knows the report is fake news, too. But is there enough legal justification for Tracy to open an official investigation?
Archival has thought through the details and isn’t stupid, so I have to think his tin soldiers have a plan for stopping Mysta if she and Vera physically overpower their boss (which wouldn’t necessarily be easy given his size). I expect there are multiple locked doors between her and freedom, which would give the guards time to tranquilize or otherwise subdue her. She also has to be concerned about Vera’s welfare, skunk that he is. Bullets will fly if the situation gets desperate enough, putting Vera and herself at risk. So I can see the reason to bide her time for now, especially if she’s still woozy from the ring’s effect.
