I carry a stick to wave in front when walking between trees or bushes.

Every time I’ve walked through a spiderweb I felt it in my eyes.

You feel spiders crawling all over you!

That must have been a very big spider web. At this point I would be more worried about the spider that made it.

Back when I hunted, this happened to me often. I still remember how it felt.

And you just thought you were going out for a quiet spin…..

I’m not going to recommend it as a regular exercise.

New dimensions in being “on the web”.

The question now is “On which part of your body is the spider now”?

Why did the spider just mind it’s own business making a web?

To make sure I wasn’t being bugged.

Spiderwebs! That probably explains why dinosaurs went extinct in B.C. When a stegosaurus who only had a brain it is said the size of a walnut, walked into a spiderweb, it was too dumb trying to escape the web so it starved to death! Giving the spider a month’s worth of food.

My job often has me in attics and crawlspaces… lots of spiderwebs.

Agreed!!! When I’m walking my trails through the woods with my dog I carry a long thin stick and as I walk I wave it in front of me, I get most of them, but not all.

Maybe tell Aunty Acid to go take a walk in the woods.

I loathe spiders. They’re sneaky.

Or walking on an icy sidewalk while trying not to fall.

Rode through a giant cobweb on the dirt bike once. They’re hard to see when you’re flying down the trail.

I used to think the lyrics to Spiderwebs by No Doubt was “It’s all your fault I scream at bull frogs”

I laugh because they don’t bother me much.

I do not have a problem with this at this time of year since it is getting light when I walk. However, there are times of the year when it is dark. Being the first person to walk under a tree limb since the night before can offer a surprise.

Spiderweb: noun. An object, that when you walk into it, turns you instantly into a karate master.

When a cat walks into a spider web it’s like watching a mime do the “invisible wall”.

I can understand why.
