Well, the inflationary period they predicated based on Trump’s mishandling of the pandemic economy is here and the Biden Administration is dealing with it about the only way they can. Energy costs are the big problem. Blame Putin and oil companies taking profit (oil is $80 a barrel after all). The Fed controls monetary policy, not the POTUS. Raining rates is the only way you can fight it.
For Biden’s programs, I’m all for them. The tax burden is primarily on the wealthy. It’s about time they paid their share. I’m all for it, 100% behind this administration.
Woke isn’t a word! But if it was, it wouldn’t have anything to do with the causes of inflation. Goodwyn is wrong about what is happening in our country and our world! Now if could learn to draw as well as Ramirez or Varvel, he could at least entertain us.
Well, that’s not half-bad because after WWII a roll of Necco Wafers at the Virginia Movie Theater in Portsmouth. VA cost the same as during The War, one ‘nickel’, and was just a little lighter, later on candy bars cost More for the previous size. Once you became acclimated to the trend, so-called: “Shrinkflation” thundered in and rolled on to greater heights. Sort of a “Role Model” for today’s “Accepted Norm” . . .!!!
It’s called the practice companies have been using for over 20,years…ice,cream in,2004 ..toilet paper in 2006…etc..because consumers are more price sensitive than size
Sugar and flour went from 5 lbs. to 4 LONG ago. Cereal and crackers got smaller over the decades. It is a shame when people like Al use this to point fingers at those who will help PEOPLE over corporations.
He is trying to somehow blame ‘woke politics’ for something that concentrated industries with little competition have been doing for decades.

Kind of like how all in the Republican Party of Trump believe that George Soros, or someone, one day convened all retail clerks and forced them to say ‘Happy Holidays’ instead of ‘Merry Christmas’.

INFLATION is WORLD WIDE!
Anything to blame the other party to TRY to make yourselves look good…
Educate yourselves, but I forgot, you’re so brainwashed you lost the ability to think for yourselves!
Blame it on OPEC, Saudis, big corporations, jumping on the inflation bandwagon! Any chance to gouge the middle man they will!

U.S. retailers have been engaging in “shrinkflation” for years … remember when you could actually buy a ‘gallon’ of ice cream?
