to an average “Joe” a “theory” is something that has not yet been proven to be a fact. A “theory” that has been proven by full clear evidence is no longer a “theory” but has become a provable and proven fact. Don’t play with words in order to muddle the truth for an average person.

I don’t get people here saying that gravity is a theory. Any reasonable person here knows that it is a FACT that if a person drops a weighted object while standing here on earth. gravity will cause that object to be pulled to the ground. THAT is a fact. Easily proven and shown.

@BillJ-MNYou say: “It’s more like carrying on with observations and testing in the absence of any EVIDENCE of gods or supernatural intervention.”… “absence of any evidence” ? ? ?Have you personally met the person who designed and assembled your very complex cell phone? If you took apart that cell phone down to all its individual components and pieces, put it in a jar and shook it for millions of years, would it EVER reassemble in to a cell phone? Or anything other than finely ground dust particles? No. You would have to use your intelligent mind and take all those pieces and work very carefully to hopefully reassemble them into a cell phone that works the way it is supposed to.A “simple” one celled organism – the enzymes, the super complex DNA, the chemical balances and interactions that make it live are vastly more complex than your cell phone. (Let alone something as complex as a human body)That complexity IS THE EVIDENCE of an intelligent powerful creative mind. A God. I can’t understand why people choose to blind themselves to this fact.We cannot SEE the wind with our eyes, but we know it exists because of its affect on things it moves. We cannot SEE God with our eyes, but we / I know that One exists by the complex things He has designed and made. But many just brush aside what I’ve just pointed out.

“Blind Faith” is NOT what convinces me of the existance of a powerful creator… A God. (or rather “The God”)Abundant evidence of a super-intelligent and powerful being can be seen when objectively looking at the amazingly complex design of even the simplest life forms.

Romans Chapter 1, Verses 20-23: “For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable; because, although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God nor did they thank him, but they became empty-headed in their reasoning’s and their unintelligent heart became darkened. Although asserting they were wise, they became foolish and turned the glory of the incorruptible God into something like the image of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed creatures and creeping things.”

BTW… The God I believe in DOES NOT tell those who believe in Him to harm any other humans. He does not tell them to bring harm to unbelievers. He had his son, Jesus teach: “All things, therefore, that you want men to do to, you also must likewise do to them…” (Matthew Chapter 7, verse 12)

So to all of you who blame religion for all the badness and hypocrisy that we have seen through the ages… I agree with you – Religion, or rather FALSE RELIGION… has been responsible for much bloodshed throughout history. But those people who do their best to follow the standards and directions of the Real God of the Bible, Yahweh (“Jehovah” in English) will NOT shed the blood of their fellow human (friend OR enemy). Jesus said to “love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew chapter 5, verses 44-45)

To me it is SO UNBELIEVABLE that people refuse to acknowledge an intelligent designer was need to make all of this complex life in its millions of forms.

But because intellectuals don’t want to be responsible to, or have to be answerable to a God (who I DO believe in), they grasp at any other explanation, no matter HOW illogical it really is.It takes more faith to believe in random chance (Darwinian evolution) than to believe that all the intricate and complex design in life must have been DESIGNED.

They of course put religion in a negative light with phrases like: “religious dogma”, “religious enslavement”, “…slimy religion is the worst proposal ever.”, “silly religion”, “Mystical Creationism”

And worship science above God with phrases like: “now in the era of scientific understanding and rationality…”, “intelligent science”, “Scientific Evolution”

Belief in a creator (God) IS NOT a mystical belief. Belief in a god is logical when one takes time to examine the COMPLEX life all around us. THINK ABOUT THAT. . . Objectively.

I guess everyone realizes that all these kids have been in high school for the last ten years, right? That’s what happens when you don’t do your homework and get bad grades. . . You get held back. . . over and over

@UshindiJust like the Jewish religious leaders in Jesus’ day. They refused to acknowledge Him too. He fulfilled countless old testament prophecies.

I don’t think that making light of this scene is good. Kind of blasphemous actually
