Also reminds me of the woman highlighted on Tik Tok where she said “Europe is 5 hours ahead of us in America, so why don’t they just tell us what has just happened so we can do something about it before it happens here”. There’s just no helping some people.

I once had a family photo. When they found out that I could do Photoshop, they wanted a few things changes. My sister in law was short, so wanted to look taller. My bother in law was bald, so wanted hair. My uncle was old, with white hair, so wanted to look younger with dark hair and my mother in law wanted bigger boobs. So I did it and they all loved their new look. Apart from my mother in law that said they weren’t big enough as I’d only upgraded them to a double D

The NHS in the UK is going downhill due to insufficient funding by the Government over many years, but it’s still free (aside from some prescription charges). More and more seems to be going down the private health care route though. I’m pretty sure the Government wants to make the NHS look bad so they can fund their wealthy pals in the private health care industry. Don’t let the UK end up like the States. $9000 and rising for an infected finger is barking. It would cost £9.50 for some anti-biotics in the UK

It reminds me of one time around 28 years ago, where my 1.5 year old son was watching me play one of those scroll down shoot ‘em up games on the computer. He wanted to play, so I set it up so it kept firing continuously and all he had to do was move the mouse from left to right to shoot down the enemy coming down from the top of the screen. He only managed to get through the first level without being blown up. I was so impressed. He’s been very good at gaming ever since.

I’m losing so much lately that I get more of a hair carpet than a hair ball.

All that will do is force others to go round the block to get there

Kids used to have great imaginations in play. Now it seems to be more about having ‘fun’ fed to them via the TV, phone or console.

My son loved his ‘Take your child to work day’. To be fair, the company really went to town with them and had them do mini projects to demonstrate team working and competition (with the other teams) in what could have been a real life situation. In the afternoon, he spent time with me to see what I actually did. As a computer programmer, I introduced some deliberate bugs into my code and showed him how to find them and fix them, then to run some automated testing to show it worked. He loved being able to do proper work and learnt a lot that day. Hopefully other companies do as well. He remembers it even to this day after 15 years and a good day.
