Frequency of the orbit is inversely related to the period of the orbit. Period squared of the orbit is directly proportional to the average radius of the orbit cubed; the ratio is determined by the mass of the star being orbited, not the planet. Orbital velocity, as described by Newton, depends on the mass of the star alone. If this were not the case, every time an astronaut exited the ISS, they would immediately acquire a different orbital velocity around the earth than the station.

STEM is good and necessary (I teach HS Physics (where do you demo?)) for an industrial nation, but STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math – is vital for civilization and a vibrant, living educational system. (Also smaller class sizes and treating teaching as a highly respected and desirable profession).
