I lived across the river from NYC during that time. The machines had a card on them that indicated you had to be at least 16 to play, but I was never questioned. I don’t consider pinball to be gambling, but it is addictive.
Back in the 60s, “Mickey Mouse in a glass house” was sold at parades where I lived. A black balloon in the shape of Mickey Mouse’s head (with the trademark ears) was inside a clear balloon.
“War” was released on June 10, 1970. It received heavy airplay on WABC that summer and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
