This is my wish. That she is going to defend the three of them. From the look on her face in a former episode she looked very unhappy about the situation . Blessed Be

Allgood is for the preservation of human values. Jackrabbit is for the advancement of mutant values. The same side of different coins?

You know,…I’ve been wondering,…the Endtowners apparently can’t grow anything (and thus are forced to eat canned beans primarily),…but where are all the smokers getting their tobacco from?

There seems to be so many!

I shudder to think what they’re smoking is “bean based”! THAT would smell worse than a bad cigar!

Well, I guess you can still scavenge Cigarettes from the Stores as you can beans. About Human Values, I think this is more a society for People who have problems to accept their new form. What is meant by “Human values” can be lived by any sentient being. But when I see what humans do, I always doubt that “Human values” is a good name for the philosophical and ethnical Idee behind those words

Why does the wording of that group sound either ultra religious or racist?

Ooh, look it’s a Pander Bear. Moving is rough, I’ll be visiting and voting as much as I can until the next operation. I even got a prescription for a cat, but gave the momcat and kittens to good homes. Kept the pick, and when I go in for surgery I’ll have someone bring her up to the top secret smoking section in the oncology ward. I quit smoking shortly after the stroke last year and saw quite a few Drs here and in Houston Medical Center so I know about several secret smoking sections near Onc Units. I thought my kitten was a male, but some little bits fell off. I was going to call him Ossie because he looks and acts like an ocelot, and they have been spotted near the Texas I10 corridor, but since his bits fell off, or the swelling went down, I think I may call her L-o-l-a, Lah Lah Lah Lola. Please vote early and often for Endtown 2.0(this strip), Doc Rat by Jenner, and Endtown 1.0, also by Aaron on an earlier host. Thanks to SurfStuff and Level_Head for posting the links when they can and do. Sincerely & Respectfully,JusSayin

i reread the old episodes of when Holly and Waly went to Jackrabbits “meeting” . all he needs is greasy hair, a stupid moustache and you got Hitler redux. Even his speeches started out the same way

…or the name thing could just be Mr. Neathery playing with our heads—-we assumed one thing, and he decided to put it out as another when the chance in the narrative arose.#Mister Allgood seems to be a panda. Any other suggestions?

Hummm: “Society for the preservation of human values”? One wonders who and how “human values” were defined in the first place, and what those values are. Do these “human values” include “privacy”? I suspect not.

Thank you, but no need for apologies. I respect Aaron and most of the folks here on Endtown too much to want to disrupt things in any way. As a matter of fact, if any apology is necessary, it should be from me. I did not realize the first comment had been taken down. I should have removed my own at that point.

A fancy name often belies a more sinister reputation. The name of the society sounds very elitists. Valerie reported it to them. She is probably a common member of the “society”. The society apparently has influence to get something done about it. A lot of influence. This group has power and probably folks in position to enforce it.“Preserving Human Values” The key word here is Human. This group would be at odds with Jackrabbit’s ideas. He wants acceptance of “Mutant” values.Interesting.

Endtown was a prewar artifact?? Missed that. Though would explain how it was so built up. “Human values” just might mean pre-crisis values, as these trying times might push expediant/ruthless/new and unknown mutant values onto things. At least here’s hoping.

It is just the old “Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals”.

Like the March of Dimes which was set up to fight Polio, once the main target is hit, the organization does not want to end and they look for something new to do and the Executives get to keep their good sized pay checks.

NOTE: I am not saying that they don’t do good works, I am just saying that they live beyond their orginal propose.

I’m not surprised by the notion of Endtown being a cold war artifact, actually makes more sense that way. Wonder if other mutant communities are similarly lucky. I’m doing a totally fannish doodle of a story in which the mutants can do little more than dig bolt holes, and later, tunnels to avoid topsider attention and never do a large excavation.

Society for the Preservation of Human Values…I suppose given this post-apocalyptic situation, there’s no longer a need for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, is there?

Y’know…Roxie could just be upset about recent events (and / or her role in them) and is at the S. P. H. V. looking for help to make things right. But I wouldn’t count on it…

As I’m getting more deeply into the scenario. I’ve got a guess as to how the Zero weapons work now too. If anyone is interested, I’ve posted a couple of preliminary doodles on FA regarding my fannish Endtown spin-off story.

Any general news as to Aaron’s condition/situation?
