If you remember July 31, 2024 installment, it was already getting dark and it would be hard for us, the readers, to see what was going on if Aaron drew the deck in the “true” light conditions.
I thought I remember some smaller water craft when Wally was bouncing along on the sofa. So we might have some automobiles with working engines and gasoline, possibly some smaller ships that, if in OK condition could be used and if not, their engines could possibly be used on the lifeboats, food, some emergency metal working supplies on the passenger liner and in the buildings possibly first aid/medical supplies and extra clothing along with can food and tools to open the cans with. They could name the ship or boat The Phoenix (The Flight of the Phoenix, a 1965 movie with Jimmy Steward, Richard Attenborough and Hardy Krüger)
An Engineer’s optimism when given a brand new project and told what the budget is on it. Of course that is right before he is told that Sales already spent 95% of the budget and the engineer still needs to get all the bells and whistles added that Sales promised beside the original specification.
It seems that quite a few are wondering about the dittos and if Wally/Cracky could/can control any of the feral ones. Of the group on the beach, only 4 others beside Wally has seen him use them. Besides Wally’s three companions, the horse/mule in panel 3 might have seen them in work, notice his mining helmet.
Forgot about that, thank you for the reminder.
