But you’re quite a boring person at times.

The result is an excuse for a triple-facepalm

If this feeling changes his color, perhaps he’s a moodring person.

I get his drift.

That’s why he always misses (or loses) the boat.

The cartoonist’s original strip had a fellow with a party hat and noisemaker at a funeral – with the caption, “I’m not a mourning person.”

He gets that sinking feeling a lot though.

Life’s a beaching.

Without his coffee, he’s all at sea.

And I’m not a mourning parson.

He’s not a boat owner, either.

he really seems to have lost his moorings…

I’d say, “whatever floats his boat,” but, that apparently didn’t work, either.

He was just slipping away……..
