nice. A good couple is a good team and knowing your love has your back and will be there for you is an excellent foundation upon which to build.

I think Toggle understands that Alex has his back. Part of a strong relationship.

As Toggle will only see her with ONE EYE, I think they get a exemption on the “Seeing the Bride before the Wedding” one.

My thought was that BD is scaring Toggle right out of the marriage. Hope I’m wrong.

I’m just wondering… Has there EVER been ANY indication that BD has EVER been with ANY woman other than Boopsie? Has he ever been tempted? Has he ever even expressed an interest?

I mean, OK, he was a star athlete in college (and presumably earlier), and he lived on a commune in the 60’s for God’s sake, but Boopsie’s been in the picture since Day One, and they married right out of college. Being a ballplayer doesn’t automatically make him a “player”, and certainly he never bought into Free Love.

And for all that prostitution follows wherever there are soldiers to be found, BD doesn’t strike me as the type who’d have “gone native” while he was in Vietnam. If he had a three-day pass to spend in Saigon, I’d imagine he’d spend it all looking for a bar showing American football on the TV…

Still, that doesn’t mean that he can’t give bedroom advice; a violinist can play the same instrument his whole life, yet still become a virtuoso. So if Toggle’s concern is over the QUALITY of BD’s advice (rather than not wanting advice at all), instead of texting Alex he should be checking with Boopsie.

Hold on – I want to read what BD has to say.

My younger cousin announced he had learned what women want (and had a divorce to prove it) — what women want, he said, is to have everything their way. As he put it, you may as well give in the first time, because you will in the end anyway. I think my cousin was closely related to BD.

Reply to fritzoid – Yes, BD had a brief affair with an officer while on leave. They were on a cruise, broke up when she found she out-ranked him, then she came looking for him. The officer met Boopsie who realised that she had to stop being his maid and start making him respect her.

Oh come on.

This is gonna be gooooood! Especially if Kim & Alex can stand in the doorway behind BD recording with their phones……..

Just ask Boopsie.

I think everyone missed the point, he is texting Alex to come quickly because he wants to get out of there!
