just wait- it’ll be a different tune after the first docking experience.

Of course…. there’s the small matter of berthage…. and hauling out, painting, bottom jobs…racing to the coast to inspect storm damage….loving a night in the cozy little cabin is easy…loving your boat while standing in the mud scraping barnacles means your heart is in it.Now that I think about it….it’s a metaphor for truly loving another person….not just the cute parts.

He’s got her right where he wants her.

And it’s got nothing to do with buying the boat.

Don’t bang your head. Ceilings are low in small boats.

I expected him to pinch himself to make sure he’s awake.

Shame they took the smile away in box two and three, kind of kills the effect.

Between Arlo and Janis and Gene and girl, this boat has been a pretty ’rockin place.

Are they retired? I never see them working.

Does the bottom job include the bottom getting painted? Whose? Do they use turpentine? Poor Arlo.

It’s bigger then the litte dinghy he he chased down the street before.

Cue the bit from the Simpsons about boat sex.

For a lot of years we had a pickup-truck “slide-in” camper (twin-size bunk, table-that-converts-to-a-sleeps-three-or-for little-and-or-friendly, toilet, ice-box-up-graded-to-3-way-refrigetator, three burner stove.

There were 3 of us when we first got it I think—increased to 5 as time went by.

I think 7 was the max we traveled with on a trip to Death Valley and Yosemite.

We spent a lot of time on the road in that thing. I’d do it again in a heartbeat if I could. (We touched each state that you can drive to except the far-north east corner. At least once.)

That’s my thought,too. She is standing by him like a good wife should. If it fails they are in it together. Years later they won’t regret not trying.

come on Arlo you don’t have to take that from your wife, fight back you woisy.

I think Arlo’s second thoughts disappeared when Janis started begging to by the boat……..

a bit late but as a father and grandfather i thought they were all pretty funny

Have never seen any indication that Arlo knows how to handle a small boat.
