Probably why Lucy is saying that. However, I do agree with you. I have been on the receiving end of bullying (as well as being shunned by the kids in my neighborhood) myself, and I am not sure I am over that….

Not even Lucy put Snoopy on the roof and drove 12 hours on the interstate.

Today’s media is the reason we don’t get GOOD people running for public office. Who wants to go through this, nobody.

Alas, it is a fact of life in most all species among the young to establish the pecking order and dominance of the group. Evolution in which there is the survival of the fittest demands it. Only way I know to even have a chance to overcome it is to bring back the moral character and righteousness taught in the New Testament and live by it.

Nothing at all cool about being a bully.

People seem to want some kind of “perfect” person to be President of the United States. There’s no such thing; people are human beings, human beings have flaws and weaknesses. And quality is not determined by how much money you have, or by how big of a business you have (Bernie Madoff, anyone?).

Yes, it’s the “I’m sorry if anyone was offended” politician boiler-plate non-apology from Romney that was the real story here. The man cannot function as a human being. Compare those weasel-words with Obama’s intelligent discussion of race or gay marriage… if Barack had been found to be a bully, I think we would have gotten a real, considerate apology.

If they’re still bullies by high school age, they never change. I was skinny and small in grade school, and moved to several different schools. I was prime “bully bait”, well, until they found out I started out in martial arts at age 6. This was over 60 years ago when those techniques were almost unheard of outside the military. The best “defense” was indeed defense, by letting them “hurt themselves”.

It is hard to be bullied. It can scar someone, I remember being put down over stuff and I’ve forgiven but I haven’t forgotten.

Proof that even as a grown up, it’s okay to be a bully. Some character traits don’t change. I don’t believe the mittens has changed. I think he would be a horrendus president. Even many right-wing don’t want him.

“Look no farther then Herman Cain and you can see the media bulling at it’s finest. "

Compared to what conservatives did to Clinton over his consensual encounter with M.L., Cain got off lightly. (no pun intended)

Yes, because what you do as a little kid will be exposed by the ever-intrusive media.
