Ah yes, the scary bathroom at Blisshaven…

There’s an alligator hiding in the toilet.

Spider pipes are definitely scary. I’m glad Alice is sharing this with Mom. Maybe Madeline can set in motion an upgrading of the facilities at Blisshaven. That bathroom appears to date to the 1950s, if not earlier….

Do they have a unisex bathroom? Oh, yeah, it’s a “progressive” school.

I think they have one bathroom; it’s a small school.

My Gramma & Grampa had a really scary bathroom. It had pipes all over the place because the indoor plumbing had been retrofitted, PLUS the toilet was under the creaky stairs.

Strange bathrooms and toilets scheeve me out.

an, an … there’s a big crack in the wall over the sink … an, an the floor has loose tiles that move when you walk on them … an, an Mis Bliss snores during nap time!

…and don’t even about with the boiler room…

A toilet with no stall. I guess it’s a one-person-at-a-time bathroom. Who the heck would inflict that on elementary schoolers?!

This strip is priceless. Yes, to a little kid, an old bathroom with exposed pipes can be a bit creepy.

They have unisex bathrooms at apreschool? Progressive!

Main thing to remember about strange bathrooms without windows is to turn the light on before you shut the door.

Hope your treatment is helping, Richard! Many of us are praying for your good health. (Actually, there was a little black spider on my overnight mug this morning which I captured in a Jif jar and released outside.)

Richard is dealing with Parkinson’s Disease and taken some time off from the daily grind.
