Twenty-four years ago today, Tracy took a Christmas break while hunting down Putty Puss in the original story. PP had just killed Barry Moore (who was starring with Vitamin in a production of the play Sleuth) and taken over Barry’s identity. Before killing Moore, PP revealed how he was able to mold his face and described how he had gone mad and had to be institutionalized.
Let’s not forget that the whole point of Christmas is supposed to be Jesus Christ’s birthday. So instead thinking of presents for ourselves we should give Him a present. How do we do that? By giving something to those in need, like Dick Tracy says.
