“Monkey ignore; Monkey don’t.” I think that’s a guy-thing. but the scheme needs a Woman to exploit. Then it gets involved. Will He be an Oscar or a Felix?!?

sjpb said, about 9 hours ago (on yesterday’s CD)

" Linda, Dry and DAZZ, my beloved little doggy made it 12 years, 3 months – we had to euthanize her this morning … I pray she is at the Rainbow Bridge . That is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. Her breed was supposed to be longer lived, but she had cancer. Wish we could have had longer."++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Most of us here know only too well what pain of loss you’re feeling now….my heart goes out to you and your family.

Linda: the pics today made me laugh out loud! Especially the dog who thought the ball was actually thrown! Tina would give me the same look, and after I fooled her twice, she shot me a dirty look and went in the house. We all fell down on the lawn laughing!

@sjpb, So sorry about your loss. I cried at any mention of her for a couple of months after Cuddles passed (and it took WAAY too long to get her taxidermy back). I had no idea that freeze-drying took so long. She looks as lovely as ever (but will never play catch with me again, or cheer when awards are given at court).

If I did not plan extended trips every year (for my OWN sanity) I would adopt another bird. We have local bird sanctuaries and I adopted Fitzroy from one; they were mistaken about his age certainly as the vet said when he died of heart problems. (hard to tell with birds).

sjpb so sorry for your loss. We had to put down our cat Tina several years ago because of cancer so I understand your pain. My husband said no more for a while but 2 days later we were rescuing a cat (Muffin). Don’t wait to fill the hole in your heart.

We have to remember that we gave our best fur friend the best long life he/she could ever want. Your friend would want another to watch over you after his/her watch is over. Please remember the good times and know that you gave your buddy an excellent life.

Final tally, $69.00And some clutter gone.As well as a few more pieces of mom.On the other hand, several perfume bottles and atomizers went to a mom that was getting them for her seven year old daughter. I told mom that a couple of them were old. Older than me.The mom saint that her daughter was going to love that.I almost lost it again.

Good evening everyone! So many heartfelt, soul tugging comments from all of you! That is one of the things that makes gocomics so special, strangers, in most cases, who will never meet, in most cases again, caring for one another! There is hope for this world!

I think my iPod is fixed! I rebooted it. But now I am going to bed. I am going to church for the first time in four weeks. I hope I can sit that long. Still in pain.

Good night Citizens of Dogs and laundry shirkers.
