If there is one issue which will win elections in ‘24 for Dems, this is the one. I’d think trying to overthrow the gov would be another but apparently it doesn’t bother tens of millions of U.S. citizens.

Liberals are so upset with Trump, you would think he stole 90% of Haitian Relief fund, sold 20% of our Uranium to Russia, deleted 33,000 emails, and let innocent Americans die in Benghazi.

Question. Why do RWNJ trolls come to these sites? They never have much to offer and comments are not backed by facts. Is there anyone here who would change their mind over their bull$hit?

Remember the scene in The Adventures of Robin Hood when a bowman puts an arrow right into the bullseye and Robin (actually an ace archer filling in for Errol Flynn) splits that arrow and wins the competition? Clay Bennett is like that.

Trump’s support for anti-choice judges has caused many deaths. His inaction on the pandemic caused many deaths. His espionage on behalf of Russia — and yes, I fully believe, based on his theft of top secret documents and his visits by known Russian operatives at Mar-A-Lago while those documents were there, and his dependence on Russian money — has probably caused unknown deaths of American agents and soldiers.

Great column in yesterday’s Wall Street Journal, in the opinion page about Joe Biden. The headline is " Joe Biden’s Long Career of Conformity". Joe’s stiff resolve with party policies is like someone trying to shoot pool with a piece of rope. It’s just not there! Ha Ha.

Regarding Fib’s posting: Great column in today’s New York Times about Donald Trump. The headline is “What Worries Me Most About a Trump Presidency”.

    Caroline Fredrickson

Ms. Fredrickson, an adviser at the Open Markets Institute, a senior fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice and a visiting professor of law at Georgetown University, writes: “In a second term, Mr. Trump will have more freedom and power to undertake grift. He has already vowed to use pardons to protect supporters and possibly even himself from efforts to curb corruption (which may explain the nonchalance with which his son-in-law Jared Kushner has greeted criticism about the conflicts of interest raised by his recent real estate investments in Serbia and Albania, as well as the Saudi, Qatari and Emirati investments in his wealth fund). And he and his political advisers are building a deep bench of committed and loyal employees who could corrode and potentially destroy mechanisms of accountability in government, paving the way for kleptocratic leaders to entrench themselves in the bureaucracy where many would be able to remain past Mr. Trump’s term. And the mere presence of a phalanx of unquestioning lieutenants in the civil service will ensure that other civil servants fear retribution for objecting to the self-enrichment.”

The evidence IS there. Unlike Fib, I’m not laughing.

    Register. Educate. Support. Vote.

Commenting in GoComics is fun, but it is the hard work, the good fight, the battles won in the reality of life that count. Volunteer to help register new citizens and disenfranchised voters. Remind people of the good things your candidate has done and will do. Support your national, state and local candidates (this is really high leverage now that 99.9% of RNC dollars are going to focused on Trump). Vote and remind others to vote.

    Take Action!

Mr. Bennett should review the 10th amendment. The Constitution does not mention the word `abortion`. It states that anything not covered in the Constitution must be covered by the states. He should be ashamed of himself.

Chaos claims that President Obama killed Roe v Wade, but he doesn’t say how. BB brain with an IQ of 71 claims that presidents do not control abortion, but seems to have forgotten that his orange messiah appointed three far-right religious fanatics that disrupted the balance of the Supreme Court and overturned nearly fifty years of precedent.

The abortion issue isn’t even about abortion. The real point is that if they can take away a right that has been in place for over fifty years, what rights are they coming after next?

Conservatives are the ones who want to dictate total control over private relationships (dictate who you can or can’t marry or even what behavior is allowed behind closed doors), private medical choices (reproductive choices such as abortion, IVF or contraception, medical or recreational marijuana, end of life choices, stem cell therapies, gender-identity care), tell us what books we or our children can have access to, or try to force PRIVATE religion into PUBLIC policy and religious rituals into public meetings or subsidize it with special tax advantages (socialized religion).

tRump brags that he killed Roe v Wade because “it’s what the people want”. So here’s a challenge: come November, everyone who is anti-choice vote for tRump. Everyone who is pro-choice vote for Biden. The result of that would be interested.
