OK. In the middle panel the eyes have it, all twelve of them, ten wide open and two blindfolded.

Spud’s adulthood is going to be sad…just. Sad

Been a while since Spud walked off a pier. Good to see he hasn’t changed.

Many years later, the fishermen caught a quite unique octopus, sporting a stiff tail

That fish is watching him, just for the halibut!

Getting warmer? No, getting wetter.

I say this a lot, but…poor Spud!

A party trick is when Spud times his step off of the pier and onto a conveniently passing fishing boat. Then the boat quickly circles around and Spud walks back onto the pier off of the other side of the boat, oblivious to his escapade.

Poor Spud, Snug Harbor’s whipping boy. :D

It could have been a party trick. Or the Irish Goodbye.

I see that Will is keeping up with current windy weather conditions in RI. Same lousy conditions as here on Cape Cod.

In their defense, part of this is still sort of on Spud for not realizing sooner he had wandered so very far from target on his own.

Looks as if Wallace would have tried something like that if he’d thought of it.

We did a Turkish band skit at camp that involved a dance on the pier, culminating in a flip into the pond—didn’t try it ahead of time in costume. Don’t enter water with veiled faces and long robes.

Imagine everyone’s laughter seeing him leave the house with the tail in his hand.
