No good deed goes unpunished- even if it’s for the planet…lol

He could have just got some goats. Like the Old Country Market in Coombs, BC.

He should have planted clover instead of grass, it requires a lot less maintenance.

St Augustine only gets 5-6" tall and without a mowing service no one will be delivering weeds.

Just how often was he paying a roofer to maintain it? What’s to maintain? And now he has a lot of weight and moist dirt up there, that WILL require maintenance.

Has that lump of grass in the third panel got eyes?

House? It look like some sortsa beach cliff resort or sometheeng.

Consider a ‘cash crop’?

Get a couple of goats or sheep

Have 3 microsheep up there. They need a herd (hence 3), are light enough for the roof, but keep the grass short and firm. Thus no rain or storm will rip the turf open, that’s why sheep are kept on levees (and not goats or cattle).

Ummm, you might have been misled on that no roofer maintenance thing.

Gutters get tricky, too.

Don’t forget pest control…ants!

you need a goat if you get that roof

And they keep the interior cooler in summer and warmer in winter with less energy expended. And look good.

Had a friend with an earth shelter home. The roof leaked from watering, didn’t even have to wait for a rain storm.
