Husband is very good at remembering our anniversary (45th this year and we went together for 4 years, then were engaged for 2 years before we married) and lets face it, it is the terribly not romantic date that the Interfaith chapel was available, the catering place our parents liked (actually said by my mom when the catering manager was asking me a question about wedding details – “It does not matter what the bride wants”) was available, and he was on summer vacation from work.
And my birthday my birthday, well, my birthday is a on a holiday so it is hard to forget – and since I hate that it is on the particular holiday I keep telling him to please forget about it, prefer it to just be a normal day.

I’ve been married for 20 years. Last year we both forgot our anniversary, so it’s no big deal.

What a creative way to remind your husband of an event, have his full attention so that he doesn’t forget soon after.
