That be Biden and the Dems, Biden issued a EO on day 1 stopping all Trump border polices, and open the gates to freedom.

Ha, ha, ha. The reason the border is still open is because Biden will not exercise the powers of his office. He thinks he can extract political hay from that barn when’re he is hidding all the illegals (oops, newcomers) by blaming it on the Republian. He wants you to believe they won’t go along with his validation of the open border “bi-partisan” bill. 3 Rinos in the Senate make it bi-partisan? Are there no bi-partisans in the House? Why is that? Because they know that the Dem proposal stinks like dead fish. What happened to a real border bill, HR-2? The Dems in the Senate killed it.

If fixing the border was so easy, why was it open under Trump? Not to mention it took two years before Trump started to build the wall. After all Mexico was paying for it.

The US southern border issue has been there for decades, there is no “only reason” to be displayed by either side. But to hear Trump bully republican politicians into turning down a real improvement JUST so that he can keep this issue going through the election – he really doesn’t care about his fellow American citizens, does he?

Numbers did drop when people were losing jobs due to the pandemic. Now that employers are trying to find workers immigrants are trying to fill many of those needs.

According to the Push-Pull Theory of Immigration there are two reasons for mass movements of peoples:

    1) Conditions are so bad where people live that they feel it necessary to leave (push)

    2) People perceive conditions to be better where they want to go (pull)

It’s the Dems just doing what their corporate masters demand. Tyson Foods closing a plant in Iowa and laying off 1200 Americans all while staffing up a plant in TN with illegals out of NYC and other locations. And the illegals get all sorts of perks not provided to American workers like legal aid and time off for immigration court.

All the illegals have to do is work for minimum wage.

Sorry. Say what you want. Biden and the Democrats offered virtually ALL of what Republicans requested. ALL. But the demagogue decided it wasn’t in HIS best interest (see what he thinks of the interests of Americans) so it was blocked. Republican’ts now own this. And it has been frequently said that the demagogue, unless he gets a huge majority in both Houses of Congress (an unrealistic expectation), will not get anything better than the bill he torpedoed anyway.

Let’s lay the blame squarely at the feet of both houses of Congress, for their failures over decades of non existent and or poor policies to actually deal with this issue as it continued to get worse.

The border has been wide open for three years. Realizing this is a top election year issue, the Biden regime feigned concern and now gullible leftists, see above, believe the wide open border is the Republicans fault.

HEY GARY Now do one showing The GOP controlled House turning their backs on a Bill that would’ve helped because Trumpenfuehrer wanted to use the Border against Joe in the election.

(This is no fun when Gary is so obviously obtuse or disingenuous. Maybe he has always been that way and I just wrongly gave him credit for simply missing the other side of the situation)

The Republicans in the House recognized the problems at the southern border.. They drew up a list of demands to solve the problem. It was very comprehensive, expensive, but sure to make a bad situation a whole lot better. Then they sat back and smirked at their “owning the liberals’” move..

The Democrats reacted by accepting the things they asked for, lock, stock and barrel, which would have been a huge step toward actually governing. So, did the Republicans celebrate their victory? Yup, to start out, they did. Then Trump instructed them not to let it pass. So, Johnson says it will never be put to a vote

    WHY?

BECAUSE THEY DIDN’T WANT TO SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS IN THE FIRST PLACE.If they actually accomplished anything it would make Biden look good. THEY JUST WANTED AN ISSUE FOR TRUMP TO RUN ON, and Biden isn’t giving them any.

The GOP have been screaming “Open borders!” since Biden’s inauguration, then acted bewildered when migrants desperate enough to make the crossing started heading to the US/Mexico border! Speaker Johnson has deliberately buried the bipartisan border bill because Trump doesn’t like it. Hopefully, if/when the Democrats win back the House and/or widen their Senate majority in January 2025, they can revive the border bill and perhaps make it easier to apply for citizenship and asylum. We should also increase funding for the countries migrants are fleeing from (Guatemala, Venezuela, etc.), I would wager that most of those migrants would stay in their countries if they felt safe and could raise families there.

Same policies that have been governing the country since Ronald Reagan. just like the deficit its ok when a Republican is president but the sky is falling when a Dem is in the white house.

When G W Bush was in the office he encouraged a “Pathway to citizenship” because Archer Daniels Midland company needed more people to work in the agriculture business like slaughterhouses
