I got up at 3 AM to read this – Actually the bedroom was too warm to stay asleep, strange weather here.

If you’re going to drink all day, the day starts at midnight, yet midnight is generally not the starting point of drinking.

She should be used to it by now.

As a youngster reading Andy Capp I assumed if you got drunk you got hiccups and your nose turned red. Hasn’t happened to me so far.
