That old scale was pitiful with your weight.

Believing that my old scale was uncorrect, I bought one of the completely digital ones, which measure all parameters. The weight is still the same (too much) and I also added the worry of high blood pressure.

I have the name for your new line of scales. Introducing the WayWattUWant. Just set it to the number that will make you happy in the morning and start your day with a smile. You can also set it to text you your actual weight at 11:00am to help you decide what to have for lunch.

I don’t check my weight at home. I get weighed each time I go to the doctor’s office.

I salute you Brutus. Those scales are like an old friend. Just hang them on bathroom wall. In remembrance of happier weigh times. My wife died 21 Mar 23, almost a year now and I have gained about 20 lbs. Not good. Just poor eating. Not cooking good healthy foods like I did for her. My Doc keeps telling me I got to take care of myself. Hard to do when living alone and grieving. At 78 (May) and Degenerative Spine disease, I don’t need extra weight but cannot exercise and walking is a chore. So I guess I’ll get on some sort of “see food” diet. Love See Food. Problem?

Nice try old man. You earned those 5 extra pounds, now you have to loose them the old fashioned way or you will be ten pounds overweight after the next holiday season and that is AFTER all the Easter Candy is eaten. It’s a never ending challenging event for all us weight sisyphuses. However that auction idea for the scale ain’t a bad idea…..

The Born Loser loses everything but weight. Suggest you put the new one back in the box, send it back to Amazon and pretend you never saw it. In the reason for the return say it’s defective.

I rarely use a scale. I can tell if I gain or lose weight by how tight my pants are or which belt notch I use.

I had a digital scale that was working just fine, but it was not new. My child one day showed up with a new one for me and took it out of the package and threw my old one out. I let her do it, but I still don’t know why she did that. Did she use my scale the last time she was here and didn’t like the result? Just being nice? I will never know.

My bathroom scale is close to my doctor’s scale. At his office, I usually weigh about 5 pounds more. The difference being you can only take off so much clothes at the Dr’s office. Still, even if it’s not completely accurate, you can still tell if you’re gaining, losing or maintaing weight.
