We used to get some email cards from some acquaintances…while they tended to be somewhat cute, and a bit of a novelty at the time, there’s still a lot to be said about a paper card, especially if it has a personal handwritten message to boot!…( I think it was hallmark that used to say “when you care enough to send the very best”?)
I have a HUGE rubber stamp collection and make hand-made, special cards for all occasions. It’s fun and the responses from my friends and family make it worth the effort.
On special occasions for special people, I will always give greeting cards. I can send a text, e-mail or DM any time. On their special days, the people who mean the most to me get cards, and they always will.

This could be something you display on a shelf.
This could be something you can see without a phone or computer.
This could be something you don’t have to download.

Seniors are the only ones still sending cards. Greeting cards will disappear along side Encyclopedia salesmen, and tv and VCR repair!

I had to remind myself that in this case, a DM is not a dungeon master.
