I don’t think she wants to be a “leader”. Doing it right is a LOT of work, and almost nobody thinks you’re doing a good job. Plus she’s had a close up of a really awful one.
“Donald Trump raped me in a dressing room in a department store”. Really. When was that? “Oh, about 35 years ago”. I see. If you cried out you would have been heard, because you were in a department store, right? “Oh, I didn’t think of that”. Case closed. They didn’t believe Paula Jones. They didn’t believe Tara Reid. But they believe E. Jean Carrol.
MSNBC showed a bit of E. Jean Carroll’s history.. Very little doubt that she had an encounter with trump, (and likely with many others to get the opportunities she got.. and that’s fine, lots of women do) but… she’s very much an opportunist seeking fame and fortune.
she is a very interesting character. educated and not afraid to speak her mind. trump bragging about “i am sooo rich” helped the jury to make the award! good!!
E. Jean Carroll’s lawyer thinks hefty judgment may have finally shut Trump up
Former President Donald Trump may have finally been hit hard enough in the pocketbook to learn some basic sense, said attorney Shawn Crowley in an interview with Rachel Maddow on MSNBC Monday.
The wretched, pathetic trump has proved once that an 80-year old most certainly can (and certainly did) beat the burnt pumpkin a$$ of a 77-year old, even if trump did pass the dementia test, six years ago.
I wish E. Jean Carroll would use every penny she gets from defeating trump, to finance lawsuits brought against trump by other victims of his wretchedness.
trump has spent most of his miserable, privileged life wreaking havoc and upending people’s lives, from defamation to withholding agreed upon, essential money for work, to rape, and then using armies of lawyers to extricate and protect the trump crime family.
I love the scenario of someone using money taken from trump to force trump to constant litigation.
trump would be undone by honest, humiliating, destructive facts about trump, brought to light for the world to see, via trial after trial, deposition after deposition, and dollar after dollar.
He lacked the courage to face her on the stand at the defamation trial (the first trial), and this is what happens when you fail to confront your accuser in a civil trial. So now, all he has is carping and whining about not being able to deny the facts established at the first trial during the second trial. He and his lawyers know better than that. In law, we try not to chew our cud twice.
He couldn’t take the stand in the first trial because it is impossible for him to speak under oath truthfully. He’s always lived in a world of own imagining, where he uses his father’s wealth and the force of his personality to mold reality to his whims. Kind of like a demented Walter Mitty.
He must delay his criminal trials until he again becomes president, because if he doesn’t, he will be destroyed, and he knows it. The tide is gathering. The question for some of us is whether we really want him get away with all that. Is the grievance farce he plays to us every day worth risking the well being of the American Experiment? I hope enough of us conclude it isn’t.

I don’t believe E. Jean Carroll has shown those qualities.

It’s hard to find even 1 of the 3 she listed, especially in the swamp on the Potomac.

While I admire EJC for taking huge bites out of TFG’s wallet, I’d list Pelosi, Cheney, Klobuchar, Duckworth…

Someone who lied about the clothes she was wearing (style of DK did not come out for years after), could not identify the place, date, or even year?
She is less credible than Christine Blasey Ford (whom even her best friend said the event never happened).

77-year old rapist trump proved irrefutably that his sorry a$$ can be beaten by an 80-year old woman.
