are all of Dick’s clothes, even the casual wear, yellow, as well?…

doesn’t he favor other colors?… what a one-track mind when it comes to his men’s wear…

    Good morning™, everyone!

Now is the time you should worry, Dick and Tess!

My guess is that Joe Bosco is named after the writer of “A Problem of Evidence: How the Prosecution Freed O.J. Simpson” after attending the trial in person. He also wrote a non-fiction book about a murder case in New Orleans.

He is credited with three acting roles on IMDB: Last Hour (2008), The One Man Olympics (2008) and Dong Jing shen pan (2006). He died in Beijing in 2010.

Good morning™, wistful wishing busts !

The manpower being only Dick and Sam for those higher profile cases left no one else to take care of all that other stuff that has been piling up due to the other officers being in mothballs. I hope they got paid; what am I talkin’ about !?  If they’re not at work because the author couldn’t find something for them to do then they should not be soaking up citizen tax dollars while soaking up rays on that Johnny Adonis beach location, hoping for a dinner date with Cuban Detective Francisco Wunbrow. Will tomorrow’s strip show some concern and worry that an important cog in the Bosco case will turn up dead ?  Tess needs to stay in until trial time, with armed guards. Better yet she needs to go into hiding until trial day.

Mark this date on your calendars. It is not often we the readers get to see the domestic side of Dick Tracy. Go on with your bad shelf! The man is baking something mouthwatering in the oven. Tess is putting a hurting on that salad. Who knows if the Tracys could get featured on Dot and Tonsils television show doing a cooking segment.

Back in Chester Gould’s day, it seemed about the only times we’d see Tracy at home would be either a) Christmas time or b) some bad guy would try to kill Tracy by blowing his house up.

The MCU can only work one case at a time? While it is easier, in terms of narrative, to tell one story at a time any police department for a burg over 20 people should be prepared to handle more than thing at a time.

And, Tracy even claims they already had enough evidence against Bosco they should have acted? Guess what, Dick, you could have gotten a warrant for JB while you were going after the book swordsman – you didn’t need to wait for one to be over before staring the next.

Meanwhile JB is closing the barn door after the horse is already gone. The police, according to Tracy, had enough evidence for a warrant already. Tess & Co. found more, and turned that over to the police, so now the police have that evidence also. Why put a hit out on Tess? Is it going to keep you from getting arrested? Will it stop the police, in any way shape or form?

As I suggested early on in the arc, the one requesting a hit on Tess must be doing it to put the hurt on Dick, because it can’t keep the police off you.

    MOVIE QUOTE

“Well, go ahead and shoot. Mathematically, the chances of you hitting me are slight.”

And as far as killing me, I don’t think you’re that good a shot".

1-DT: What’s that? TESS D’URBERVILLES: Uh, adding lots of salt – it’s good for your hypertension.

2-TESS D’URBERVILLES: Oh, get your head outta the oven, moron! It’s not even gas!

3-DT: I know you and Johnny want me out of the way. I was just trying to get it over with. TESS: Whatever gave you that idea?

DT: Besides the loads of salt on everything? Well – the jugs of Prestone in the fridge with Sport Drink written in Sharpie on the label.

TESS: You’re tense, Dick. Lemme get my Genuine 1850’s Doctor Kit and bleed a little of that tension out of you. DT: Maybe you’re right. TESS: And I’ll get you a big glass of Sport Drink to replace the fluids the bleeding removes!

Okay—-now,what will this “Bosko” character look like? Chocolate-colored skin?

He’s apparently a teeny cog in “The Apparatus”—Screweye apparently charges premium rates.

    From today’s Comics Curmudgeon:

Get a load of panel two, which contains the most ominous and noir instance of someone taking a piping hot loaf of bread out of the oven in the history of baking. Dick knows that no matter how delicious fresh bread is and how satisfying and surprisingly easy it is to make it in your own home, the human heart is inherently rotten and no society can ever be free of the crime and corruption that only violence wielded in the name of the state can keep at bay.

What? The Tracy Agency deals with domestic dispute cases mainly? Seems a waste of Tess and Johnny’s talents.

So! It’s Joe Bosco (male). He’s a low level guy. But he’s an “organization” man, and that makes him worrisome.

From this we deduce that if it wasn’t Bosco himself who put out the contract (to Fata Morgana) on Tess, it might have been someone higher up in “the organization” whom we have not yet met.

Put on your worried expressions, Tracy fans. There is trouble afoot….
