I liked it better when the American public voted in collaborative moderates who worked across the aisle with their respected peers in Congress, the president and the SCOTUS were honorable folks respected by the vast majority, and the only people trying to divide our indivisible nation were foreign enemies outside of our country, not a radical fifth column insider cohort.
More information is leaking out about Republican mega donors, the wealthy and big business, rejoicing over how inflation has increased the bottom lines. The actual causes of inflation ended in 2022; ongoing inflation is corporate greed.
Democrats win again! They and their issues take contests in Ohio, Kentucky, and Virginia. It will be a very interesting 2024, and only a fool would count President Biden out, at this point.
Biden Hits: Part of Sars-CoV-2 economic aid bill, infrastructure, climate/healthcare/tech bills, gun background check bill, cutting back damage Trump caused with allies, support for Ukraine.
Biden Misses: Part of Sars-CoV-2 economic aid bill, handling of Afghanistan withdrawal, temporizing remarks on economy/inflation.
Voters: Fed is the lion’s share cause of higher prices – but voters always blame whoever is in the White House. The illegal migrant surge is caused by bad economies elsewhere; a coherent Congressional plan is needed but the GOP refuses because they can make Biden look ineffective.
Biden is facing a GOP House that pledges nonstop blocking of everything he attempts. The perception is that Biden is too old and ineffective to serve another term. Hopefully, Biden will see this, bow out, and support a moderate Democrat candidate. If not, and there’s a recession in 2024, Biden loses. If no recession, Biden wins.
By every metric known to man our economy is doing far, far better now than it was under the orange con-man. In what way is this cartoon making any sense at all?
Yes, Biden is responsible for the floods and droughts and bird flu that have caused food prices to rise due to decreased production. And he isn’t on the golf course 24/7 like the former guy.
Record unemployment, rising wages, lower inflation than the international standard; seems like a pretty good recipe so far. Perhaps Lisa has a pair of those crap colored glasses on?
Record time coming out of tRump’s recession, record low unemployment, record high working, record new jobs created, record new manufacturing, keeping the world-wide Saudi created inflation lower than the rest of the free world, wages outpacing inflation, and all the while putting out the dumpster fire made by tRump and his supporters. Biden runs a great diner.
Ignoring the many good things he did, until Repubs gerrymandered a small majority in Congress.
Of course, Repubs ignored the harm Orange Traitor did his entire time in office. Hard to imagine it could have been worse, but it’s a good thing the Orange Traitor is also something of a lazy slug. Sadly, he spent a lot of time on traitorous endeavors, starting the first day he was in office, when he had known Russian spies in the Oval Office.
Prior to Biden and his antiAmerican economic policies, you could get a fast food burger, fries and drink meal for 6-7 bucks. Last time I hit Burger for that kind of meal I shelled out $16. Might as well go to a sit down restaurant for the same price and better food. FJB and all his left wing sycophants. All prices are up across the board and it’s the low to middle income earners who are paying the price.

More empty criticism of Biden.
I guess the laptop has run its course, maybe.

If you should want lower prices, vote for Herbert Hoover. Prices plummeted, although not as fast as wages.

I much prefer editorial comment which offers positive solutions to common problems. Pretending Joe Biden is the problem isn’t going to solve anything.
