They had 80s day in the middle school where I was subbing. I wore a blue T shirt with a picture of Sylvester the Cat saying, “Thalt Lake Thitty1” A kid asked me how that was 80s clothing. I replied, “Well, I wore this in the 80s, so it must be 80s clothing.”
I just bought three heavy-duty T shirts and threw out a couple of decades-old ones. My wife just bought some thick socks at Target. We’re excited about these “major” purchases. Simple pleasures are the best ones.
Don’t forget leather jackets, White Mountain Shoes, Keds, Guess Jeans (always tapered with a zipper), Gerbaude Jeans, Doc Martins, definitely overalls… A lot of this is coming back around though. So weird how that happens.
Sorry to tell you, Zoe, life was all literally black and white for you all in the 90’s. Other than that her hair and clothing styles haven’t really changed.
Haha! (^▽^) I can still wear a handful of my shirts & shorts & pants from the 90s. Good thing too cause otherwise I’d have to go naked cause I can’t afford clothes atm.

My beloved also never disposes of any article of clothing; therefore it has expanded and expanded to take over room after room of the house.

Having grown up in the 60s and 70s, I feel very old when I hear the phrase “back in the 90s”. Hard to believe it was 30 years ago.

And they haven’t even been relegated to boxes in basement yet.

Are the kids supposed to dress up in a costume for Thanksgiving? I’m wondering if I missed something.

What, Zoe expected it to be like hers, totally disorganized. “A place for everything and everything in it’s place.”

What used to be an outfit is now a costume.

Those clothes she described were the 80’s, not the 90’s!

90s? Ask me what I wore in the 70s.

Isn’t that what people wear now? Unless of course they are going to Wal-Mart, then they just wear their pajamas.
