Aw, it’s okay, Annie. You wouldn’t want someone that nervous of you to adopt you, anyway.

My present and previous dog were pit mixes. She is probably our last due to our ages, but if we were to get another, we would want another pit mix. They are soooo loving.

Poor Annie. A victim of people’s misguided perceptions. But, it will be ok in the end!

I just adopted a 9 year old sweet pitbull from a shelter yesterday. She had been there a year. She sure shows her appreciation.

As a neighbor to a pitty mix and someone who once owned one years ago, I feel so bad for most of them. Totally the victims of bad breeders. They can be so very sweet.

If my husband wasn’t horribly allergic to dogs, I’d be adopting that sweet baby in a heartbeat <3

Okay, folks. There are thousands of dogs just as sweet as Annie sitting in shelters. Go find one.

Oh Brian . . . now I’ll be depressed until tomorrow. PLEASE don’t stretch Annie’s distress out! I guess there are a lot of humans who need reminders of what unfeeling jerks we can be, but your point has already been very well made. Thank you.

I hate that pitties and bully breeds get such a bad rap.
