Only Magats are present in the party formerly called the GOP, now known as the NotSee Fashist Party. It’s time to retire the elephant symbol, and for this cartoon, replace it with a snake swallowing its own tail. Personally, I wish they’d form a circular firing squad and fire away until none remain. The only people worse than these Magat politicians are the people who keep voting for them.
This cartoon demonstrates why we shouldn’t use elephants to represent the Republican Party anymore. Elephants are noble animals who show much more empathy for their kind than do Republicans. This should be monkeys scurrying arround in a tree and throwing “stuff” at each other.
When/why did the republicans adopt the elephant as their mascot?Elephants are considered wise with long memories.. definitely not todays party. Republicans would be better served with a mascot that better describes them, perhaps a turkey or an ostrich. Just a thought..
I grew up in a family full of old line Republicans. They told me that Conservatism valued Prudence, Judiciousness, and Restraint, and that a Conservative always kept his own house in order first.Today’s Republican Party does NOT deserve to call itself “Conservative” because it just isn’t.
Reminds me of a game of Musical Chairs, except there doesn’t seem to be any chairs. Ironic since the current ‘game’ concerns a chair, that none of the currently or recently suggested candidates have any business filling.
Remember, Romney was ridiculously extreme when he ran for President just over a decade ago. He’s now retiring a moderate despite not changing pretty much any view. But remember, both sides are extreme now so says the entire corporate media. Dems aren’t even as far left as 1960s Dems were. Hell, a lot of them aren’t as liberal as some 1960s Republicans were.

All the GOP moderates and conservatives have left the building.
