Truly, a bizarro world interpretation, but apt in that it comes in the form of a report from an adolescent. I guess that’s the level of “thought” that passes for analysis in MAGA world.

If I were this kid’s teacher, I’d merely ask, “please provide one example of your assertion.” Then, explain to the class that things are not true merely because you claim them to be true. (I did love those teaching moments.)

Hmmm, I seem to remember chants of “Lock her up!” from Republican rallies. I also note that those mean old grand juries are made up of regular Americans. Oh! And how many Democrats vs Republicans have provided evidence against the former guy? Oh! And how many Democrats have you seen publicly proclaim that Trump and his minions should not have the presumption of innocence or have a fair trial in which they are judged by their peers? That’s s right — none.

Republicans love playing the victim—even after they commit crimes right in front of our faces.

People like Trump and his co-conspirators are used to operating above the rules and laws the rest of us respect and follow. When they are held accountable, it feels unfair to them. Beware when they use the word “unfair,” It’s a red flag. Steve Kelley obviously feels the Republicans are being treated “unfair.”

Yup.. There is just no justice for republicans. Life is so unfair.. whatever happened to the “It’s okay if a republican does it”, was that not etched in stone?

Steve sounds like the woman at the Texas Collin County Support Paxton Rally last weekend saying she signed a petition to stop the impeachment trial because everyone is innocent until proved guilty.

The People TOO have a right to a speedy trial. I want to invoke that right.

Republican Vice President Spiro Agnew accepted bribes [just like DEMOCRAT Joe Biden], but Agnew resigned so he wouldn’t be convicted. He was replaced by Gerry Ford, who pardoned President Nixon AFTER Nixon resigned. Republicans of 1970 were subject to laws. [Nixon’s AG went to jail!] Do I think Biden’s corrupt AG will go to jail for letting the statute of limitations run out on Hunter’s tax and gun crimes? NO! Republicans of 2016 on have been subject to convictions from FAKE charges! Trump DIDN’T collude with Russia, HILLARY and the DNC did! Democrats tried to impeach Trump for a phone call with Ukraine, but Trump DIDN’T take a bribe from Ukraine like Joe Biden did! Democrats tried to impeach Trump for “Inciting an insurrection” when Trump is on video asking supporters to PEACEFULLY protest at the Capitol. Now that Trump is a private citizen, Democrats are trying to throw Trump in jail with completely bogus charges. If Democrats keep the White House and Senate, and regain the House in 2024, the USA will have ONE party Communist Democrat rule, since the Republican party will have no chance of winning again with Democrat “Federal rules for elections” that stipulate NO ID required to vote, signatures on “mail-in ballots” DON’T have to match, one MONTH voting, etc. [The USA is a banana “republic” NOW with Stalinist “courts” even though Republicans control the House. The Speaker doesn’t even try to cut federal funding for the corrupt Democrat run DOJ!]

Mr. Kelley seems to write just to churn without looking at what is really happening. He should apply for a job with trump.

In the U.S. you reap what you sow. Back in the 1990s, Ken Star spent over $400 million in failing to get President Clinton convicted of any crimes. The Benghazi Congressional hearings that failed to bring any charges in what now Speaker McCarthy said was just to harass Clinton before the election. FBI Director Comey, a Republican, said no charges would be brought against Clinton just before the election. And tRump led the chants of “Lock her up!” during the election. All the accusations, all the investigations paid for by our tax dollars, and Republicans never get a conviction.

Who in their right mind would hire a Republican lawyer if they were on trial for their own life?

Those poor, persecuted Republicans. Why, they’ve got it worse than early Christians! And they’re just as devoted to their Mango Messiah! Well, at least up to the point where jail time seems certain…

What sets the USA apart in the world is our freedom. Dictator loving Republican criminals are taking our freedoms away.

2 levels of justice. Democrats and then all the rest of us. Proven by how the J6 crew were held for months before having a chance to see a judge vs the protesters from the day Trump was inaugurated. Also the difference between the Summer of 2020 protesters. One set handled with “kid gloves”, the other hit with a velvet hammer.

If you’re equating Republicanism with criminality, I couldn’t agree more!

Hey, Repubs, have an easy solution. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime. The evidence is overwhelming against many prominent Repubs. In the meantime, they respond with baseless accusations against Biden. Why? because Repubs need the illusion of both sides do it, to justify their actual criminal behavior.

What sets MAGA Republicans apart is that no matter how much evidence is presented that shows Trump is guilty of criminal actions, they will refuse to believe it because they have bought into his false talking point that – regardless of the widespread charges brought against him, the fact that Republicans provided the evidence and depositions, and that grand juries of citizens voted for the indictments and not individual Democrats or the administration – any accusation is a witch hunt against him.

Another day, another lie. On August 16, 2022, President Joe Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act into law and ushered in what he proudly called “Bidenomics.” Turns out, the bill had nothing to do with reducing inflation.One year later, Biden admitted that he lied. “I wish I hadn’t called it that,” Biden said of Inflation Reduction Act. “Because it has less to do with reducing inflation than it does to do with dealing with providing for alternatives that generate economic growth.”

The current crop of Republicans hope that by committing crimes in the open will make it legal. Instead it’s easier to believe that they are guilty because we all saw it happen.

Poor babies, if they don’t get their way… in every situation or lie or corruption… it’s illegal, mean, unfair. Whine, whine, whine. Grow up.

The one-sided nature of the comments argues the truth of this toon, better than I ever could.
