Disney sued him over the Ratman costume because of the ears.

Bratman doesn’t know the capital of Nepal, but Bruce Wayne and Catman do.

Catman wasn’t really rejected.

It was worn at least once in his Italian adult fumetti moonlighting.

Well, at least he didn’t try Scatman.

Besides Superman DC actually has a Catman character, usually affiliated with the Secret Six mercenary group. And There is a Ratman superhero manga.

Fatman – Sidney Greenstreet was not amused…

Yes, there have been numerous revisions and rewrites to Batman’s origin over the years — but I’m pretty sure that Bruce Wayne encountering this many creatures and making so many false starts is not part of the official canon, in any of the various DC universes.
