It’s often not a matter of learning. It’s the application of the knowledge.

Better Cheerios than cheese doodles. It’s still a small start though…..

Hey, a man needs to ease into these things. You can’t go off halfcocked and underfed or you’ll make poor decisions. A couple of cookies helps clear the mind.

Try fruit and nuts. Cherries, berries, peaches, apricots…. You don’t even have to go cold turkey. Reduce by 20 – 25% and get down to 50% and then down to 0 in steps. And speaking of steps, increase your steps. 10 minutes a day of walking for a week and build up to maybe an hour or so. Don’t feel bad if you slip, just get back on and keep it up.

Has Adam ever been back to the Mayonnaise place, which I believe was called the “Mayonnaisateria”? I’m sure that would help his thought (and digestive) processes, one way or another.

First year of Covid husband and I both lost weight – I lost 15 lbs. If we would eat a certain amount of food before Covid, we would eat 1/2 to 2/3 of that amount during Covid so food would last longer in the house without needing to go out shopping again. When we finally felt comfortable going out food shopping again and we were not worried about not having food in the house it all came back.

Then again I am still less than the about 80 pounds more I used to weigh about 10 years ago and still 11 lbs less than I weighed in high school.

(NO – ordering food was not an option having been tried early in Covid and it did not work well – I am currently FINALLY throwing out the assorted dented cans which came with our order from Walmart in May 2020 and were unusable – but “just in case” we have kept them in case it was even harder to get food. 60% of the cans were dented beyond use and some were almost folded in half.)
