I just realised that what has been bugging me about Doonesbury lately is these sunday strips where Boopsie is so ..bewildered and sad looking.. not the wide eyed innocent silly bewilderment of her college days.. but this. this really almost horrified look hopeless look o m g she looks like i feel when i don’t take my herbal supplements for sadness and bewilderment!!!!! and BD doesnt look so good either. Maybe Sam and some of her friends could start mentoring their parents? i mean, i know i could use some of that thar mentoring.

Seems like only yesterday when Sam was playing with her Sarah Palin doll.

Does Sam have a license to run a business from her parents’ home?? And if she does, how come BD isn’t charging her rent?

It seems like (with the exception of Alex) Doonesbury kids start out smart but grow up to be kinda stupid.

Over 200k plus stock. So he bought a house near one of the best snowboard resorts, expensive! And he rented 2 rooms. Go figure? “Dad, I save a third, got plenty of cash and buy what I want, go where I want.” In and out of college with a Masters in 4 years. His friend never finished college, has over a million followers on you tube, He sells ads. I have no idea what he makes but he doesn’t need anything. Others are not so fortunate. I dont think they know what a landline is, and TV, as we know it is obsolete.

Is this the other shoe dropping from being influenced early in life by Zonker? …hmmm…

Years ago, a strip revealed that Samantha is gender-fluid. What with current events and all, Trudeau might find that a point worth revisiting.

Being an “influencer,” especially on an idiotic site like TikTok, isn’t a job. It’s being a bad influence.

Sort of ironic that Mike, who was portrayed as the biggest loser of the group when the strip started out, is the only one who had a kid who isn’t a bum.

Wish Trudeau would find a better way to show Boopsie has aged, especially on the profiles. The vertical lines make her look like she is about to burst out crying.

What you have there is an expensive, time consuming, non-internship hobby.

I fear for the future

Kids these days! If only we hadn’t legislated industries to offshore, or ruined labor unions, or turned higher education into just expensive job training, or socialized wealth holders while punishing wage-earners and the disabled, everything would be better off! Happy trails!
