It’s nice when a person is comfortable in their own packaging (skin).

Still has sugars.

You don’t need to wash a candy bar before eating it. It doesn’t easily get bruised, split, and unappealing, and it has a shelf life of a year.

Perfection with a PR problem. “Many a flower is destined to bloom unappreciated.” The simple joy of doing it anyway.

But he’s right. He’s a sharp kid with a very sharp wit. Some readers really dislike him.

I see him as a kind of pain that I enjoyed in my classroom because he helped keep the class on task. The other kids knew he would start something, so they waited to see. Meant I only had to deal with him and that usually took only a few minutes and was kinda fun most days. Always enjoyed his thinking and he kinda charged up the others. Wasn’t always a male student but effect was still the same.

Could have enjoyed a few like him in other classes but usually only one, maybe two in a small school.

Figuratively bananas.

You are what you eat.

They find fruit apeeling.

But healthy food is more expensive. Sad but true.

He mentions that fruit comes in it’s own packaging when he’s eating grapes? The most troublesome fruit to manage.

I’ve never seen a nacho cheese or sour cream and onion banana.

Bananas make me puke. I can’t even stand the smell of them. I know they’re supposed to be good for me (potassium, I think), but I just don’t care. When my wife peels one, I have to leave the room.

When they study birds, he will be the cuckoo.

Sometimes being bananas can have a certain…uh peel.

He may also be nuts!
