Show trials are next on the agenda when the repubs get their way. Like all good dictatorships you’ll be needing more bogeymen to incite the crowds after the republicans steal the next election.
Except the Durham Report was a big nothing burger. It spent millions telling us exactly what Comey said when the Trump-Russia investigation was initiated AND what the Mueller Report detailed.
But hey, we all learned we shouldn’t falsify emails.
Durham was appointed by the Trump team, not to investigate charges of corruption, but to “investigate” other investigations. The entire purpose was to find “fault” with those other investigations.
If Durham has said that he found no evidence of collusion, has he told us how diligently he looked for it? He says that the Mueller report has no such evidence, when even the parts we’ve been allowed to see — and Mueller himself — have said otherwise.
And he criticizes the FBI for starting an investigation because of allegations from sources not considered — at least by Durham — 100% reliable. Well, gee, if they were always correct, why would there be a need to investigate their claims?
Alas, the Democrats still have a lot to learn about how to do that. If they had understood how it’s done, they might have done a better job of hindering the Republicans when they did it.
Take a look at claytoonz.com for an upcoming toon called “Bull Durham”. Durham found NOTHING but the RWNJ / Trumpers are going to keep shoveling that bull.
One tome is well read while the other is ignored. So many commenters seem to know what’s in the Durham Report but refuse to read it. Oh, you saw it described on CNN, et. al, so it must be gospel? If I’ve skimmed it, so can you. It’s online.
The Republican lamentations of a weaponized FBI and JD ring hollow. The Republican view that laws should apply to everyone but them, and the anger they feel when they are actually held to account, is very telling.
Therefore, everyone but right-wing media, and their lackeys, the Magas, will take any grievances proclaimed by Durham in the spirit in which they are offered, i.e., sour grapes.
The Bull durham report was a true $6.5M weaponization of the DOJ with confirmation bias as the driving force and trumped up findings determined before it began. They did get some sweet dead end vacations in Europe out of the deal
Jim Jordan’s House committee has just heard testimony, under oath, of 12 FBI whistleblowers who testified that the FBI targeted pro-life groups, Catholics, and parents attending school board meetings with investigations in an effort to paint them as domestic terrorists. The Durham Report’s claim that the FBI has been weaponized is likely more fact than fiction.
We all know the radical Dems who troll this site hate Jordan, hate Trump, hate Republicans, hate Conservatives, and likely hate me. Their emotions pale in comparison to honest, measured opinion of which they present little and add nothing to the discussions here. Hate contributes nothing but reveals plenty about the commentator.

Nobody on the right should be yapping about weaponizing the DOJ while Bill Barr still draws breath.

To the repubs, weaponizing the DOJ means investigating wrongdoing by the GQP.

If it came from Durham, it’s full of bull. His “investigation” has been debunked throughout its process.

Yup. Not that anyone will be held to account for it. DC is turning into a banana farm.

My question to: GoComics – Are you now alphabetizing comic creators by first names?
Reply: – This change was made at the request of the creator.

Durham report was the longest most expansive investigation in DOJ history and he found almost nothing and passed on Trump’s crimes.

The Repubs are dummies if they think we’ll ignore their attempts to weaponize the DOJ.
Wonder if MTG realizes her attempt at impeaching the head of the FBI could be considered Obstruction of Justice?
