The interviews I saw showed that almost all the hard core Trumpists who voted for him (that were interviewed) in 2020 have already made up their minds, about 90% to vote for him and about 10% who had already dropped him before he announced for 2024. What DOES matter is that almost none of the “swing” voters will vote for him: They remember what he did the first time he held the title.

I’ve heard that Putin and 90% of the Russian oligarchs still support him, so there’s that.

Also every White Supremacist in the western hemisphere.

Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said that Trump being found liable made him want to vote for him twice. So, he is admitting to be willing to commit voter fraud?

By giving him the platform CNN has ensured that he won’t be held accountable for 1/6. His act that he truly believes he won will protect him when indicted. And he has a few million who support that because they hate black/brown/Muslim/Jewish people. Oh, and of course all those Asians that get into college here and prevent deserving white boys entrance.

The Republicans that are critical of Trump all admit, if he’s the party nominee, they’re voting for him.

Americans don’t vote for the best candidate. They vote for the one they think isn’t as bad as the other one.

The MAGA base skews old (and young people skew vehemently anti-Trump). They were older in 2020 than in 2016, and will be older in 2024 than in 2020. He will have lost a few hundred thousand (if not millions) to attrition alone (helped by the imbalance in COVID deaths).

Not so sure – I know several former Trump voters who say they’re embarrassed by Trump and wouldn’t vote for him again. HOWEVER, they will vote for whomever the Republican candidate is, and if that candidate is Trump then they will roll their eyes and vote for him anyway…

He could burn the Reichstag or cause severe damage to the Capitol during an attempted takeover of government, blame it all on the opposition party and somehow get away with it. They just let him because he is a star, almost like 30% of the voting public enjoys being sexually assaulted by him

CNN owes us all an apology for the awful so called “Town Hall” with donald trump. CNN simply provided a platform for him to spout his destructive nonsense to an adoring selective audience. Trump must be denied his audience to spread his lies. Why did CNN do this?

His suckers will pay that. He never pays for anything. He’s a practiced scammer.

He gives those people permission to say and be what they deeply want.
